Biographical Info

Dr. Matthew McCarty is the Director of Quality Assurance and Patient Safety in the Department of Emergency Medicine.  He is an Assitant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and is also an assistant attending physician at NewYork Presbyterian ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical Center and NYP-Lower Manhattan Hospital.

He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine.  Dr. McCarty subsequently completed his residency training at NYU/Bellevue Departments of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. McCarty has been named a Future Leader in the High Value Practice Academic Alliance.
